We are currently recruiting a number of Clearing Applicant Hotline Operators on a short term timesheet basis to assist the university with the delivery of Clearing. Clearing is an opportunity for applicants to apply to places at the university once they have received their results, therefore the role will involve taking applications and enquiries over the phone, as well as providing excellent customer care to applicants at all stages of the Admissions process. You will need to be educated to a level (or equivalent), have good customer service skills and excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Important information: - The roles will be located at our Canterbury Campus
- There will be a mandatory training sessions held on Tuesday 13th August. You will be paid for attending the training
- There will be a mandatory online training which will need to be completed prior to Tuesday the 13th of August. You will be paid up for completing this training
- There will be 2 mandatory working days - Thursday 15th August and Friday 16th August
- Work will be undertaken on a rota basis, between 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday from the 15th of August.
- Prospective applicants should note that there are a limited number of vacancies, and the department may choose to select applicants on a first come first served basis
- Telephone interviews will be arranged at a mutually convenient time by the hiring department directly
- The department may choose to close the advert earlier than the published close date, should sufficient applications be received
- The University is required to obtain evidence from all new members of staff of their eligibility to work in the UK prior to their start date and this will need to be provided before a contract can be issued
