If yes, then this part time fixed term role may be of interest.</p><p>Kent and Medway Medical School are seeking a Student Procedures and Quality Coordinator on a part time, fixed term contract until July 2028.</p><p>In this role, you will provide professional and wide-ranging administrative support to the Student Procedures and Quality Officer in the management of student procedures, including professionalism issues, academic misconduct, appeals, and complaints. The post holder will support the maintenance of case files and records, coordinate student meetings, and provide administrative support for quality assurance activities. The role provides strategic and operational leadership on the ethical, inclusive and effective use of AI across education, research and professional services, ensuring Kent takes a proactive, values-led approach to innovation.</p><p>A professional services leader, the Head of AI acts as the University&rsquo;s expert advisor on AI adoption and governance. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology Services, you will coordinate cross-institutional initiatives, oversee AI governance frameworks, and help Kent mitigate institutional risks associated with unmanaged AI use &mdash; including data protection concerns, academic integrity challenges, and reputational exposure.             <p data-pasted="true"><strong><em>Are you an early-career researcher with expertise in the study of fungi and extensive, up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge in your subject area?&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join our research team on a project funded by a Wellcome Trust Fungal Adaptation grant to address how adaptation to natural and host environments drives Mucorales pathogenicity, to deliver a step change in our understanding of Mucorales biology and to aid the identification of novel therapeutic targets.</p><p><strong>As Research Associate in Mucorales Adaptation you can expect to be involved in:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing original laboratory-based research</li><li>Taking initiatives in the planning and delivering of high-quality research</li><li>Conducting data analysis and ensuring the validity and reliability of data at all times</li><li>Preparing research findings for publication and presentation.             <p id="isPasted">We are currently recruiting a number of Applicant Hotline Operators on a fixed term timesheet basis to assist the university with the delivery of Clearing. Clearing is an opportunity for undergraduate applicants to apply to places at the university once they have received their results. The role will involve taking clearing applications and enquiries over the phone, as well as providing excellent customer care to applicants at all stages of the Admissions process.</p><p>You will need to be educated to A level (or equivalent), have good customer service skills and excellent accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p><strong>Important information:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>This role is in-person, located at our Canterbury Campus.</li><li>Please see the Job Description for full details of the expected working hours and mandatory dates/time.</li><li>There will be mandatory online self-directed training that must be completed prior to the mandatory in-person training.
