            <p id="isPasted"><strong>If you have experience of providing excellent reception services, good IT skills and the ability to actively listen to customers and deal with unexpected situations with courtesy, diplomacy and patience this role could be ideal for you. Join our team, providing a friendly, helpful and informative reception service to students, staff and external visitors.</strong></p><p>For much of your shift you will be the sole Customer Services Assistant and therefore it is essential that in addition to having excellent customer service skills, you are able to deal calmly and confidently with all queries and bookings. The roles are situated across campus in accommodation areas, academic buildings, central service buildings and in campus service buildings and role holders can expect to work in a variety of settings depending on demand.&nbsp;</p><p>Typical shifts patterns are between 07:00 and 23:00 on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday, 5/7 days.</p><p><strong>As Customer Services Assistant you can expect to be involved in:</strong></p><ul><li>Receiving all initial enquiries from students, staff and visitors to reception areas, resolving them or referring correctly to other staff or university departments as appropriate.             <p style="margin-left:.5pt;" data-pasted="true"><strong>We are seeking an inspirational educator and role model to lead the delivery and quality assurance of clinical teaching in surgery across year five of the school&rsquo;s undergraduate medicine programme. The post-holder will ensure equivalent learning across all clinical placements and also be involved in clinical teaching to ensure it remains relevant to meeting the requirements for a primary medical qualification. As a subject matter expert, you will also work with colleagues ain other years to ensure the surgical content of the course is accurate and up-to-date.</strong></p><p style="margin-left:.5pt;"><strong>The role will involve working on the campus sites of both the partner universities in Canterbury and Medway and conducting extensive liaison work with placement providers based across Kent and Medway.&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="margin-left:.5pt;"><strong>The role is open to suitably qualified individuals who have a specific interest and background in undergraduate medical education, and who are working in current NHS clinical surgical practice. If yes, then this fixed term role for 36 months may be of interest.</p><p>The School of Humanities is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging scholar for a fixed term post for 36 months, with experience of teaching modern British (19th&ndash;20th century) history at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The ideal candidate will have particular knowledge and expertise of modern British environmental history, with an ability to contribute to the teaching and supervision of undergraduate students in the field of modern (19th&ndash;20th century) British history more generally. The successful candidate will be responsible for convening and teaching a core entry-level British history module (HIST4007 &lsquo;The Making of Modern Britain&rsquo;), plus an optional Honours-level module in British environmental history (HIST6205 &lsquo;Cholera to Climate Change: Environment and Society in Modern Britain&rsquo;). In addition, they will convene and teach an optional postgraduate module in heritage and public histories (HIST7013 &lsquo;Public Histories&rsquo;). The project combines biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology. The structural biology part of the project will involve multi-protein complex assemblies, single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and X-ray crystallography.             <p id="isPasted">We are currently recruiting a number of Applicant Hotline Operators on a fixed term timesheet basis to assist the university with the delivery of Clearing. Clearing is an opportunity for undergraduate applicants to apply to places at the university once they have received their results. The role will involve taking clearing applications and enquiries over the phone, as well as providing excellent customer care to applicants at all stages of the Admissions process.</p><p>You will need to be educated to A level (or equivalent), have good customer service skills and excellent accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p><strong>Important information:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>This role is in-person, located at our Canterbury Campus.</li><li>Please see the Job Description for full details of the expected working hours and mandatory dates/time.</li><li>There will be mandatory online self-directed training that must be completed prior to the mandatory in-person training.
