Student Experience Coordinator

Salary:  £23,487 to £26,341 per annum
Grade:  Grade 5

If you have experience in event and/or meeting organisation and have successfully supervised a team we would welcome your application for the role of Student Experience Co-ordinator in the Division for the Study of Law, Society and Social Justice. 

The Student Experience Co-ordinator will assist, in a support capacity, with the day to day planning, administration and co-ordination of student experience related events, activities and initiatives.  You will be self-motivated, highly organised and have a strong commitment to providing consistently high quality service to students (prospective and current). 

You will provide a knowledgeable service to students and staff, ensuring the relevant University procedures and processes are followed. In conjunction with colleagues, the role holder will deliver a service which makes a positive and measurable contribution to the success, experience and academic attainment of students.

This position is available on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

As Student Experience Co-ordinator you will:

  • support the promotion, co-ordination and delivery of a portfolio of events etc. to enhance the student experience and engagement for all students in the Division
  • assist with the planning and co-ordination of Welcome Week, transition events, graduation and other activities to support and enhance the student experience
  • liaise closely with the Division’s marketing team on internal communications with students, to help foster a sense of community
  • organise and minute the Student Voice Committee as relevant, ensuring that all actions are followed up in a timely manner

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
  • experience of working in a similar administrative post and/or level, dealing with enquiries from a diverse range of sources
  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal pleasantly, confidently and effectively with customers and colleagues
  • excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • experience of using social media and other online tools
