Would you like to join our professional Housekeeping team? They are responsible for ensuring our award winning accommodation, lecture theatres and conference rooms, hospitality outlets, flats and public areas all used by staff, students during term time and then conference guests and holiday makers in vacation periods are maintained to our high standards.

Your main duties will involve cleaning and servicing University communal and public areas including lecture rooms, bedrooms, offices, flats, toilets and houses to a high standard, whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for reporting defects, damage or shortfalls in service standards to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Cleaning experience is essential and you must be a team worker with good communication skills. You must have a flexible approach to hours and areas of work when the business dictates.

Hours required are 6.00am to 09.00 am

As a Cleaner you will:

Clean and service University bedrooms, offices, flats and houses to a high standard.

Clean and move furniture and equipment as required.

Remove refuse to external refuse compounds and ensure cleanliness of surrounding areas.

Operate appropriate cleaning machinery/use approved cleaning materials.
