The University of Kent is seeking a Research Associate to join an exciting NIHR-funded social care project — LEAP (LGBTQ+ Inclusive Home Care Provision). The main purpose of the role will be to undertake research focusing on improving home care experiences for LGBTQ+ people aged 60 and over.
In this role, you will play a key role in the delivery of mixed-method approaches including conducting a scoping review, supporting a large-scale survey and carrying out in-depth interviews.
As a Research Associate you can expect to be involved in:
- Carrying out high-quality research as part of the LEAP project.
- Supporting the dissemination of research findings to various audiences.
- Engaging and working with care sector stakeholder organisations and LGBTQ+ organisations to inform the research and implement findings
What will you bring to the role?
- PHD or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge / awareness / working with care sector and/or LGBTQ+ stakeholder organisations
- Ability to analyse and interpret quantitative survey date / qualitative interview data
