            <p data-pasted="true">Admissions Administrators undertake all aspects of the administration of student enquiries and admissions, from the point of first enquiry through to the point of registration at the University, ensuring that applicants have a fair, positive and satisfying experience, and that the University has vetted applicants thoroughly to ensure compliance with visa regulations, qualifications and fee requirements</p><p><strong>As an Admissions Administrator you can expect to be involved in :&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Undertaking a range of admissions activities to support the work of the team and the management of successful admissions processes.</li><li>Processing selection decisions using agreed protocols for a group of schools, for both home and international applicants.</li><li>Responsibility for processing decisions on applications including coding offers for successful applicants on the electronic admissions platform (SITS) ensuring all necessary conditions have been appropriately and accurately added.</li><li>Liaison with home and/or international applicants, including international agents and nominated contacts as required.</li><li>Understanding and working within a range of external frameworks and regulations including Consumer Protection Law, the General Data Protection Regulation, UK Immigration Rules, UCAS Business Rules and Principles and Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) expectations</li><li>Representing the University at occasional weekend or evening events such as Open Days or offer holder days</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>What will you bring to the role ?</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Educated to GCSE or equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>Experience of working in a similar administrative role, particularly in team orientated, results focused process driven high turnover office environment, or within recruitment or student admissions<strong>.</strong>&nbsp;</li><li>Good IT skills, particularly MS Office packages&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience of working in a customer service environment&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a wide range of people (internal and external)</li></ul><p><strong>What we can offer in return:</strong></p><p>As a member of our team, you can expect a friendly, open and collaborative working environment and support in your development and wellbeing.             <p id="isPasted">We are currently recruiting a number of Applicant Support Operators on a fixed term timesheet basis to assist the university with the delivery of Clearing. Clearing is an opportunity for undergraduate applicants to apply to places at the university once they have received their results. The role will involve taking clearing applications and enquiries over the phone and via email, as well as providing excellent customer care to all applicants at various stages of the Admissions and Registration process.</p><p>You will need to be educated to A level (or equivalent), have good customer service skills and excellent accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p>Important information:</p><p>&bull;<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>The roles will be in-person located at our Canterbury Campus.</p><p>&bull;<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Please see the full Job Description for full details of the expected weekly working hours and mandatory dates/time.
