Are you a motivated Researcher with an interest in supporting research in Fungal science and Microbiology? Are you committed to excellence in a laboratory setting? If so, this exciting opportunity may be an ideal role for you.

As Research Associate you can expect to be involved in:

  • Contributing to the designing and execution of research projects, ensuring alignment with institutional and departmental goals.
  • Conducting individual and collaborative research, gathering and analysing data to derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Organising, storing and writing up results and report regularly to the research group, partners and other stakeholders.

What will you bring to the role?

  • PhD in Microbiology/Genetics or related relevant discipline (or to be  in the final stages of obtaining such a qualification)
  • Evidence of research excellence in Microbiology, including publications in internationally competitive journals and conference presentations
  • Ability to carry out research independently
