We are pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an Education Fellow in Assessment within KMMS, a role that involves quality-assuring assessment material including Applied knowledge tests (AKT) and OSCE questions. Education Fellows will also actively contribute to multiple mini-interviews (MMIs), and wider assessment work such as question writing, marking, standard setting and OSCE examination. Training and support are provided for all aspects of the job.
As an Education Fellow in Assessment you can expect to be involved in:
- Support the quality assurance processes of the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) assessments to support the production of the AKT exams across the programme.
- Support the quality assurance processes of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) assessments to support the production of the OSCE exams across the programme.
- Liaise closely with line manager, educators and lecturers to deliver assessment material.
What will you bring to the role?
- A Medical/Healthcare degree, or a closely related subject area such as Human Anatomy, Physiology or Biochemistry, or equivalent
- A demonstrable interest in assessment or teaching and learning in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education or a closely related discipline (bioscience or health)
- Ability to give clear and constructive feedback to staff and students
- Accuracy and attention to detail
