The Kent Business School is looking for a Lecturer in Project Management who will complement a strong team of researchers and scholars in the Department of Analytics, Operations and Systems of our Triple Crown Kent Business School. They will lead and deliver Project Management modules on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Kent Business School welcomes applications from candidates with a strong teaching record in higher education but equally values practice-based scholarship and will consider applications from fully qualified practitioners with a strong track record of programme leadership and teaching in higher education.
As Lecturer in Project Management, you can expect to be involved in:
- delivering and contributing to the design of high-quality, demand-driven and student-centred taught programmes.
- engaging in individual and collaborative scholarship and develop connections with professional bodies and industry. To lead or contribute to enterprise or consulting projects as well as other initiatives on behalf of the School and generate income.
- contributing fully to the School and University by participating in meetings, working groups, committees and other School and University activities and/or by taking on administrative roles if required.
What will you bring to the role?
- A Master (or equivalent) in relevant professional area
- Teaching experience in Project Management
- Evidence of successful publication activity in relevant professional journals, successful presentations at relevant professional conferences, or equivalent evidence demonstrating candidates maintain and develop currency of knowledge
