IT Assets Administrator

In this busy and varied role you will provide administrative support in various areas across the IT Asset Management strand. You will be involved in asset procurement and asset management and will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations within the IT Services department for the University.

As IT Assets Administrator you can expect to be involved in:

  • Administrating asset tracking and inventory management processes
  • Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software assets
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit reports and action plans to address any identified discrepancies
  • Monitoring software licenses, ensuring compliance with license agreements

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software risk management principles and practices
