 We have an exciting opportunity for a 12 month secondment cover for our IT Assets Administrator. In this role you will provide administrative support for asset management, including staff hardware provisioning, cloud assets and software licensing.  You will report on institutional assets and facilitate compliance with vendor terms, legislation and national standards. You will engage with IT suppliers and Finance colleagues to support the full software, hardware and cloud asset lifecycle. 

 As an IT assets Administrator you will: 

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware, cloud and software assets.
  • Administrate asset tracking, staff hardware provisioning, inventory management and disposal. 
  • Collect, analyse, and report key data on Hardware, Cloud and Software assets.
  • Monitor software licenses and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with license agreements.
  • Support the renewal of software licenses and maintain records.

 To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational, independent and time management abilities. 
  • Good understanding of IT asset management principles. 
  • Knowledge of IT (hardware, cloud and software) risks and mitigations.
  • Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and reporting data.
