Do you have a professional qualification in Information Technology or Human Resources? Do you have practical knowledge and understanding of integrated HR software with experience of using data query and extraction tools? 

We are seeking an experienced HR Management Information and Systems Manager to lead the strategic development of HR systems and staffing data provision at our University.  

The role involves managing the HR MIS team to ensure effective and secure operation of HR systems, data security, compliance, and the provision of management information.

As our HR Management Information and Systems Manager you can expect to be involved in:

  • Lead on the continual development of Staff Connect and other HR IT systems
  • Work with the Head of People Operations and the HR leadership team to implement policy, design procedures
  • Oversee the timely production of data for University-critical submissions (e.g. HESA, Research Excellence Framework etc.)

What will you bring to the role?

  • Proven ability to work co-operatively with multi-disciplinary groups/teams
  • Advanced Microsoft office and IT skills with experience in using IT to improve business processes 
  • Understanding and appreciation of strategic organisational priorities
  • Highly developed numeracy skills for calculation and analysis of workforce planning information
