Quality Assurance & Enhancement Coord

Do you have experience working with large databases, spreadsheets, and web-based applications to capture and report on quality assurance and accreditation data?  If so, this full time fixed term role could be ideal for you.

We are seeking a full time Quality Assurance and Enhancement Coordinator for a fixed term post to provide high-level administrative and operational support that ensures compliance with both internal and external quality assurance standards. You will assist in the administration of established quality assurance and enhancement processes, supporting compliance with external and internal regulatory frameworks, and working on projects and initiatives that support quality assurance enhancement and the continuous improvement of the Office and University’s activities.

As the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Coordinator you can expect to be involved in:

  • Providing first line response for standard and non-complex queries to academics, professional service colleagues, and external stakeholders, assisting with compliance with the University’s Regulatory Framework.
  • Building strong relationships with team members and other stakeholders to ensure a robust and collaborative culture of quality assurance, compliance, and enhancement.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for receiving and responding promptly and professionally to enquiries, referring conflicts or more complex situations to a manager or supervisor.
  • Developing specialist knowledge on a variety of quality assurance processes and responsibilities in order to work with minimal supervision to achieve deadlines and targets This includes areas such as academic misconduct referrals, early appeal resolutions, committee servicing, external examiner administration, continuous monitoring.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a wide range of people (internal and external) 
  • Ability to work under pressure and work both independently and in cooperation to meet deadlines
